We Walk PHL Pop-up Walk and Tour
Join the Friends of the Rail Park and We Walk PHL for a special guided tour of the Rail Park’s past, present and future, and learn more about the We Walk PHL program.
The Friends of the Rail Park are transforming a historic railway into three miles of linear park and pathway, enriching the health, culture, and ecology of Philadelphia and building a bold, transformative, and inclusive public space that connects residents and visitors to the city and each other.
We Walk PHL is a free wellness program managed through a partnership between Fairmount Park Conservancy, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. Launched as a pilot in 2017 and now running at 30 locations across the city, the program seeks to promote positive health outcomes, increase use of Philadelphia’s park system, and create opportunities for people to pursue fitness goals while meeting their neighbors.
For this special We Walk PHL kickoff event, we can have 20 participants.
