Volunteer and Tour Guide Orientation

Join us for a Volunteer and Tour Guide Orientation and learn how you can help the Rail Park grow while sharing its story with the community. During this session, we will introduce the many ways you can get involved, including leading a guided tour, volunteering at Rail Park events, or representing the Rail Park at partner events throughout the city.

The first half of the orientation will focus on getting to know one another through activities and conversation about volunteering at the Rail Park. We will share more about the park’s mission, the role volunteers play, and the different ways you can get involved. The second half hour will focus specifically on tour guiding for those interested in leading tours and learning how to share the Rail Park’s story with visitors.

If you are interested but unable to attend the in-person orientation, we will also host a virtual information session the evening prior from 5:30 to 6:30 PM where you can learn more and connect with the team.
