Volunteer with Us at REI Marlton: Support the Rail Park, Share the Vision, and Earn a Free Rail Park Membership for a Year!
Are you passionate about parks, community spaces, and connecting with people? We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help spread the word about the Rail Park at the REI store in Marlton, NJ!
The Rail Park is a transformative public space project, and we’re excited to connect with outdoor enthusiasts and local supporters at REI. This is a great opportunity to engage with the public, share information about the park’s mission and future, and help us sell Rail Park merchandise to raise awareness and funds.
This volunteer opportunity will come with a free Rail Park Membership, just in time for our upcoming members only events- a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Cut and a Seed Swap at Poison Heart! Volunteering for any of these opportunities,
Volunteer Details:
We are looking for two volunteers for each of the following dates:
- Thursday, November 21
- Friday, November 22
- Saturday, November 23
- Thursday, December 12
- Saturday, December 14
- Thursday, December 19
- Friday, December 20
- Saturday, December 21
Location:
REI Marlton
Marlton, New Jersey
What You’ll Do:
- Chat with REI customers about the Rail Park’s vision and progress
- Help sell Rail Park merchandise (mainly T-shirts)
- Be a friendly and approachable ambassador for our organization!
Requirements:
- Must have a vehicle – you’ll need to transport merchandise to and from the store
- Be comfortable talking with the public and representing a nonprofit mission
- Ability to lift and carry a small inventory of T-shirts and a display setup
This is a fun, impactful way to get involved with the Rail Park and connect with the outdoor community in South Jersey. Whether you’re already a fan of the park or just getting to know us, we’d love to have your support.
