Urban Beekeeping with Anna Bee's and Wood Street Pizza Party

The Rail Park - 1300 Block of Noble Street
Free

Things are about to get a little buzzy at the Rail Park

Join South Philly apiarist Mark Berman of Anna Bee’s Honey for an evening all about beekeeping, local honey, and the essential role pollinators play in helping our ecosystems thrive.

Whether you’ve dreamed of becoming a beekeeper or you’re simply curious about the tiny workers behind your favorite flowers and foods, this workshop is a chance to learn from someone deeply connected to Philly’s bee community and the work of urban beekeeping.

And because learning about bees works up an appetite, we’ll wrap up the evening with a pizza party featuring a special honey pizza made with honey from Anna Bee’s Honey at nearby Wood Street Pizza.

Come for the bees, stay for the pizza, and leave with a greater appreciation for the pollinators that help keep our city blooming.
