Lunar New Year at the Rail Park

Join Friends of the Rail Park for our annual Lunar New Year celebration as we welcome the Year of the Wood Snake! The festival will feature exciting performances by returning partners: Philadelphia Suns, Ballet SunMi, Crane Center Tai-Chi Team, Friends Senior Care Center Performance Team, and DJ Kevin Kong. 

PopUp Play, Philly House, and Bethesda Project will also offer family-friendly activities and resources throughout the event.

What’s New This Year?

A second lion dance performance by the Penn Lions, a traditional Lunar New Year flower market, presented in partnership with the Philadelphia Asian American Pacific Islander Design Alliance, and the return of the highly anticipated and delicious Bao Bar!

This event is free, but registration is encouraged.
