Art on the Park Workshop
Join Artist-in-Residence Yannick Lowery for a hands-on cyanotype workshop inspired by the past, present, and future of the Rail Park. Using historic photographs and collage techniques, participants will create blue-toned prints imagining what they hope to see in the future of the space.
We'll meet just outside of the Art Museum Target and bring you down to just outside of The Cut (the next phase of the Rail Park!). We can't enter the fenced off portions but, we'll peer into our future public space and create art that reflects the what we want from the Rail Park!
No art experience required, just bring your curiosity, your creativity, and a willingness to experiment. Yannick will guide participants through the cyanotype process while exploring how art can help us reimagine public spaces together.
Whether you’re a longtime artist or someone who hasn’t picked up scissors since elementary school, this workshop is all about making, imagining, and connecting with neighbors through creativity.
