2024 Make Music Philly

The Rail Park - 1300 Noble Street
Free

Join us at Phase One for Make Music Philly, an all-day, open-access, free "do it yourself" festival taking place in various neighborhoods across Philadelphia.

The Rail Park is excited to welcome musicians ranging from indie folk to a barbershop quartet to perform at Phase One all day long! Make Music Philly is a part of a larger global event, Make Music Day, which is celebrated on June 21 each year. This annual music celebration encourages musicians across all genres, young and old, to get out and share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers alike.

Scheduled Acts:

5-530PM:

Philly-native, Lisa Chosed, is an indie folk singer-songwriter. With a voice reminiscent of Nanci Griffith, you can hear hints of musical influences Kasey Chambers & Alanis Morissette in her unique writing style. Along with being inspired by travel and art, her songs are full of self-reflection and societal observations. Lisa's debut album "Fly" is available on iTunes, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud, and she is working on her next one!

545-615PM:

His Name Was Dusk

615-8PM:
Philly Bluegrass, a not-for-profit project of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia, promotes the creation, performance, and appreciation of bluegrass and roots music in Philadelphia and its surrounding regions.
